Saturday: Noms/Veto Comp

Hey guys & gals! Yesterday was the Nomination Ceremony and...

Nominated for Eviction is:
TIFFANY and HANNAH

(Tiffany telling Azah she's ok if she goes home and says she has her son waiting for her.)

Big shocker, there. (I'm being sarcastic.) It's going to be the guys trying to get all the girls out from this moment forward. Kyland (HOH) is targeting Tiffany this week and depending on the veto today, it may cement her BB fate. She said she's going to fight hard for the veto and if it's meant to be, then it'll be.

As far as updates go in the future, they will still happen but on my time. I have to refocus on my job and with not many people even watching this show at this point (heck, most of the BB alum isn't even watching this season), it's no longer a priority of mine for these last remaining 3 weeks.

Also, I won't be here on Finale Night to blog live, as my husband said he will be taking me out to dinner for our wedding anniversary! Awww! So my last blog post will be when it gets down to the Final 2/3 in about a week and a half from today.

Oh! I forgot to mention; There's a Celebrity Big Brother coming up this Winter, but I doubt I'll blog that. I just tend to like the Summer versions of BB more.

I'll update this post tonight sometime with the Veto Comp winner. (Good luck, Tiff!)

Winner of the Veto Comp is:
KYLAND

  2. How is her son waiting for her at home at the jury house? Can we please cast people that actually care about winning 750k and will do anything to win!!

    1. Ehh I think she meant after jury since the season is almost done and that her son is her everything & it's OK if she loses.

  4. I have really enjoyed watching the Cookout execute their plan...best alliance in BB history in my opinion. If a girl would have won HOH the boys would be on the block...it is what it is. Question...do you really like the summer BB seasons? It doesn't seem like you have enjoyed a summer BB in a long, long time.

    1. No I haven't liked a bb in akng time, most bb fans feel this same way and it saddens all of us. It's broken. It's been broken.

  5. I could care less about these people. Feel the same way as I did last year - don't care who wins and I stopped watching the show - I just read your blog!! This may be the last year I watch it since it's soooo awful and predictable. When will they bring in real players???

    1. I hear ya! I always joke that they should grab people from lower income areas (like where I was raised) and throw them in a house if you wanna see real game play lol

    2. I really think that would help. Granted, $750K is a LOT of money no matter how much you already have. But if the cast is full of people who are already successful or doing well in life, the hunger isn't the same. Fill the cast with people who are struggling, and you will see that reflected in how they play.

Jaime, we gotta call CBS and get you on the casting team

    3. Casting should know to put HUNGRY people in there... People hungry for a life change, hungry for just one chance in life... I'm surprised they haven't figured that out after all these seasons.

    1. I agree completely and was stunned that Claire didn't consider what Tiffany said to her as the reason for getting her evicted was racist. Eviction has nothing to do with race - it has to do with strength, annoying behaviors, building relationships. I'm extremely offended.

  9. Question: isn’t Josh mixed race? If so, technically the person who wins this year isn’t the first.

  10. He is Latino. He mentioned he is the first Latino to win and he is excited about having the first African American winner. It's on his Twitter.

  11. I agree with Marc 100%. I too have been offended by the racism this season. I don’t understand how one can think it’s OK to form a black alliance to oust the white houseguests. If the situation had been the other way around, I dare not think what would happen. It is a terrible example to set for anyone who is watching, especially the younger people. It is obvious by the gameplay and reactions of those who have been evicted that they did not see color which is how it should be. It’s so unfortunate. I feel really bad for Sarah Beth, who I actually did not really care for. In particular, I feel especially bad for Claire, who in her innocence about race, was completely deceived and blindsided. If only she could see this herself. Maybe she will come around when she’s had some time to reflect on it. One thing is for sure, I would not want my children to see this and think this is OK. It’s extremely disappointing and shameful.
