Good morning and welcome to your Wednesday! Nothing much has happened and nothing has changed, game-wise. Britini is still going home on Thursday, despite her campaigning yesterday. Kyland held even more meetings yesterday, despite his HOH duties being done. The rest of the houseguests are talking about next week and/or relaxing until Thursday night. They also played "MAFIA" (a game).
The highlight of the night was watching the HG's bash previous BB winner Josh (who only won because everyone hated Paul just a tad more). The best quote of the night: "I'd rather lose to Paul than to lose to Josh." -Kyland (*Ouch. lol)
Moving on...
I'm not sure what to think of this season. It's so weird to me because the cast is amazing, but this season is boring beyond belief. They all like each other too much! haha I mean, great for them! But lame for us feed watchers. I keep hoping "next week they'll be at each others throats" but we're heading into Week 7 tomorrow. Not to mention, the last week of BB is boring every season due to lack of HG's and usually just the Final 2 in the house until the live finale/crowning of the winner. So that leaves us with...*does some quick math*....5 game-worthy weeks left. Where's all the betrayals? The fights? The lying on top of more lies? The drama? The scheming masterminds?! Ugh.
Speaking of the Big Brother 23 finale, that date is Wednesday September 29th, which is also my wedding anniversary! Obviously, I had no idea of the finale when we booked our flights to our anniversary destination (this was done about 6 months ago), and clearly my marriage/anniversary is more important than a TV show. lol So this will be the first time, since I started blogging way back during BB9, that I will not be live blogging the BB finale. I'm sure you guys & gals will be just fine, though. ;)

I'm right there with you Jamie. I love the houseguests but it has been so boring. Usually I'm so glued to the live feeds...not so much this season. Kind of like a soap opera, you can miss it for a week and still not really miss any of the story line. But I have hope. Eventually they have to turn on each other. Lol.

DeleteI think if Xavier accomplish his goal of getting the cookout to the final 6 the feeds would be entertaining but my suspicion is if Tiff or Azah get into power within the next two weeks a shot will be taken with the alliance
ReplyDeleteI hope that isn’t the case. I hope the cookout keeps the goal as priority. But Azah is hella emotional. They need to get Derek X out, if not I’m sure he’ll take a shot at one of them and the he’ll be invited to the cookout.

DeleteDEFINITELY NOT the worst. I’m an oldie. I’ve been watching since the 1st season. The last several years have been challenging for me to watch. All of that “voting w/the house” nonsense. At least we have some players that are doing their own thing and not sitting back to pick weak players week after week.

ReplyDeletethere has to be people that you can't stand in the house to get the kind of drama that always made big brother great. those days are gone sadly. now if someone is even the least bit offensive people want them removed from the game...or they try to destroy their life after they leave the game.

DeleteIt's really just as boring to me as every season has been since around season 10. A large alliance, picking the other players off one by one. And they just can't grasp they are being played. DX and Claire seemed to have figured it out somewhat, then mentioned putting Sarah Beth up against Kyland. Ugh, as you say * head desk *.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think when you have one of the most solid alliances that ever played Big Brother, there will be several weeks of "Boring". I do agree the triple eviction will hurt the chances of some good moves. Enjoy your days.
